EARTH - Draco Petra (Rock Dragon) is found in mountains, volcanoes and rock systems with naturally occurring caves. Semi-precious crystals grow on the neck, back and tail. A flightless creature, its wings mere vestigial appendages, used only in mating rituals and intimidation to any challengers.
AIR - Draco Argentum (Silver Dragon) is hard to spot as its highly reflective silver scales reflect the colours in its surroundings. An excellent flyer and dazzling in sunlight due to high reflectivity. Rare and highly prized for its silver feathers.
FIRE - Draco Ignis (Fire Dragon) is one of the largest and most aggressive species of dragon. Two sets of glands in the back of the mouth excrete a mixture of chemicals which are highly flammable on contact with air. During their mating season the males light the skies over their mountain homes with displays of fire breathing.
WATER - Draco Aqua (Water Dragon) has a broad rudder like tail which it waves up and down in swimming strokes to give propulsion through the water in which it lives. Females lay 3 to 5 pearlescent eggs together in underwater caves.
