Anne Stokes, British fantasy artist, is renowned across the globe for her gothic, mystical as fantasy illustrations, particularly her range of strong female characters and dragons. Her work is widely licensed for products including posters, jigsaw puzzles, clothing, tarot decks, and figurines. Her early career featured many illustration for games such as Dungeons & Dragons rule books and miniatures, before she moved in licensing her own brand of art as Anne Stokes Collection.

"I designed Dragon Summoners to be the sort of game that I'd like to play myself. The rules are quite simple and easy to grasp initially but give scope for different tactics and outcomes, with an element of luck thrown in. I collect dice and find them fascinating little objects, so to design some especially for the game was fun. The concept of summoning dragons with magic is a excellent one to illustrate and I have enjoyed designing the art and game contents to match. We have taken great care to source some really lovely items as part of this box set which I am sure players will love and I look forward to sharing more about this whole project very soon."
